Trying to decide on a spec tool to use…thoughts?

I did some research and tested out some options for a dev tool to use for handing off my design work. I really liked the look of how Zepplin and Avocode looked in their demo videos. When I started to create an account for Avocode it was only on a trial basis before I would have to pay to use it. I got as far with Zepplin as downloading the app to my Mac and having the plugin installed on Figma to try to create an easy flow, but couldn’t get the projects to export from Figma to Zepplin.

I ultimately think right now the right tool for me is going to be Figma. I have been using it now for the last half year. It does include some of the code like the other dev tools do. It may not be as friendly for a developer since they would have to have Figma and have to give in to use a design tool to see the design. Until I am able to get the hang of Zepplin or another dev tool Figma will be my weapon of choice so to speak for handing work off.

If there is more insight to the dev tools I mentioned or any other spec tools that people have used in the real world that work well for both designers and developers please let me know. I am open to trying any tool to maximize my efficiency and make it easier now and in the future to work with others on a project.
