Spotify is an app that millions of people around the world use daily. It was originally a music platform app that now provides news updates, podcasts, and even language learning as well. The design of the application was designed for the user to be able to use the app with ease.

Usability- Spotify is a well thought out application that has good learnability. What I mean by that is that it makes it easy for the user to understand how to get from one page to the next. It is laid out with clear texts for playlists, songs, and artists so the user can get from one to the other with ease. It is the most popular music application because it offers a lot for the user, but mostly because the user doesn’t have to think about how to use the app when they are using it. Everything from the homepage to the search menu to creating a playlist is very simple and displayed so the user can understand how to do it almost immediately.

Accessibility- Spotify made the accessibility of the application as easy as the usability. The nav menu is at the bottom of the app with three items to search through the app. The menu at the bottom of the app makes it easier for the user to go to any of these options because it is accessible with their thumbs and the user doesn’t have to move their hand or fingers much to navigate the app.

The Spotify app creates a great user experience because of how well the app is designed with the usability and accessibility of the user in mind when designing the product. Spotify is modified constantly to keep up with technology. In doing so the app continues to keep its easy to use platform the most popular among users.
