The Good, The Bad, The Hopeful: My Journey in UX (Part 1)
I’ve been keeping busy this year. Not only did I resume school online instead of in person after winter break, but I also switched schools, plunging into a whole new landscape to navigate. Juggling school commitments with my part-time job at Starbucks, I’ve been steadfastly building my personal brand while actively seeking full-time opportunities in UX. As we’re just four weeks into the year, I’ve already experienced my fair share of ups and downs — some days filled with promise, others marked by challenges. Reflecting on the positive impact journaling has had on me personally, I felt inspired to embark on this journal series. Through documenting my journey of networking, job searching, and brand building, I aim to offer insights gleaned from my experiences, hoping to shed light on the process for others navigating similar paths.
